Drue M. Orwig, DO, MBA, CWSP
About
Dr. Orwig has thirteen years experience in Emergency Medicine and over eight years of experience as a board-certified Wound and Hyperbaric Specialist. She serves as the Section Chief of Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine at Corewell Heath (formally Spectrum Health) in Grand Rapids, MI. She oversees several wound and hyperbaric programs within West Michigan.
She sits on the Education and Quality Committees for the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) and was recently named the member-at-large for the board of UHMS.
Dr. Orwig is the Chair-Elect for the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Chapter for the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP.) She has given numerous lectures (local and national) on Wound Care, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Dive Medicine for various groups. She has been the past councilor for the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Chapter of ACEP and the past Medical Staff Secretary for Corewell Health West.
